Chinese Green Tea

Green tea is more and more popular in the world today. Actually, green tea has long been a kind of Chinese traditional drink and its history can date back to more than 4,000 years ago.

According to legend, legendary Emperor Shennong discovered tea by chance when a tea blossom fell into his cup of hot water. He was also the first cultivator of Chinese tea.

Originally, green tea was used as a health aid. It was costly and was only available to those who could afford them. It was not until around 300 A.D. when green tea became a daily drink.

Green tea was introduced to Japan between 729 and 800 A.D. and made its journey to the West in 1606.

Today, people have learned a lot about green tea. Some people even believe that green tea can be a treatment for everything, from curing skin problems to reducing the risk of developing cancer. In a word, green tea is a miracle.
